We are known as "The Church with the Cross on the Hill." The vision for Millersville Baptist Church came to life in 1921 where the first services were held in a tent. Many years later the vision is still alive and growing.
Growth has been continual and consistent as souls have been saved and the unchurched led to know Our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
There has been the addition of educational space as well as the building of two sanctuaries during those past years. The newest Sanctuary was completed in 1996 and we are very thankful God has blessed us with good facilities. We warmly invite you to come grow with us and find a home for your heart at Millersville Baptist Church. It's a special place for special people.
- The first piece of land was given to the church in 1921, by Miller Manufacturing Company.
- The first services were held in a Tent, then later in 1923 in a house.
- The Church was officially organized in 1923 with 15 members, and the first sanctuary was constructed.
- In 1924, Millersville was approved for membership in the Alexander Baptist Association. Since then the church has grown steadily and in 1982, a new sanctuary and educational building was completed.
- In 1995-1996, the present Sanctuary was completed.
- In 1999, a Child Development Center was added to accomodate 80 children. The Center is committed to the Spiritual, Emotional, and physical development of children.
- From 1921 til present, God has truly blessed Millersville Baptist Church.
