Millersville Baptist Church, Taylorsville NC

Millersville Baptist Church has an extensive Mission Program.

We minister to several nursing homes and are in the process of extending our opportunities. Also, we are involved in Mission trips in our community, as well as other states.

Millersville supports Prison Ministries such as Rock of Ages and local prisons. Additionally, we support missionaries in Brazil and Bulgaria and provide over $50,000 for Mission work. Praise the Lord!

We have the Baptist Men and W.M.U., Young Baptist Women who do missions...again putting words into action.

Our young women and men in missions are a valuable asset to our church and community. We love community and house-to-house visitation programs as well as Life Style Evangelism.

Millersville Baptist church has a Bible based Christ centered youth program for all ages, starting with the Jr. Youth program ages 5-11. They have frequent outings such as bowling, putt-putting or family joined picnics at Price Park.

This would be a great opportunity for any young person to have while learning about Jesus Christ. Our youth programs are based on Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he shall not depart from it."

Our MY Group is for ages 12-18, and meets every Wednesday night for Bible based classes, geared toward today's teenagers, and their challenges and problems, currently being taught, is the national acclaimed course for teenagers, "Andy Stanley's Seven Checkpoints Every Teenager Needs to Know" with great leaders that believe in hands on ministry.

These teenagers visit shut ins and nursing homes on a regular basis sharing scriptures and songs and the love of Christ.

Our youth are involved in mission work, we recently traveled to the eastern part of the state, where youth worked and shared Christ with the victims of hurricane Isabel.

We have fun together while learning. Christ is still the answer for all ages.
